A famous Second World War veteran is visiting Ottawa this weekend.
A Lancaster bomber, one of only two still flying, arrived in Ottawa Friday afternoon for a two-day stay.
It'll be open for public tours Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the private plane side of the Ottawa airport, off the Airport Parkway on Comet Private.
Only the first 125 people will be allowed to tour the historic four-engined aircraft, owned by the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum.
The Lancaster will participate in a flypast over the Canadian Aviation and Space Museum on Sunday morning to mark the anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
