The Ottawa Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a suspect in a jewelry store robbery.
According to police, a man walked into the store in the Carlingwood Mall on September 2nd around 8:30 in the evening...
He initially spoke with staff, but then left the store.
The man returned a short time later with a hammer and smashed the display case, taking an undisclosed amount of jewelry.
Police say he may have injured his hand or arm in the process.
The suspect is white, in his 20s, and of an average height and build.
He was wearing a dark coloured baseball cap with a white logo on the front, with sunglasses, a brown jacket, a blue button up shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes.
