KINGSTON, Ont. -- Police say two men are charged after an argument in a car escalated and one man allegedly brandished a sword, while the other broke a window in the vehicle.
Investigators say a 26-year-old man went to a Kingston, Ont., home on Wednesday morning to retrieve property from a 30-year-old man.
It's alleged the pair got into an argument in the 30-year-old's vehicle.
Police allege that's when the 30-year-old suddenly took out a sword and the 26-year-old responded by punching out the passenger window of the car.
Witnesses called police, who arrested both men and seized a sword.
The 26-year-old man is charged with mischief and the 30-year-old faces a charge of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace.
