A 21-year-old man is facing impaired driving charges after allegedly fleeing a traffic stop in Prince Edward County late Friday night.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) say officers were called to a traffic complaint around 11 p.m. when someone had reported seeing a man urinating in a parking lot then getting back into his pickup truck and blowing a red light.
Officers tried to stop the vehicle when it fled, hitting a police vehicle.
Jonathan Wilcox of South Marysburgh was arrested and is now facing several charges including driving while impaired, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and assault with a weapon.
