Ottawa Police say a man wanted on a charge of first-degree murder, in connection with Ottawa's 21st homicide of the year, has turned himself in to police.
The Major Crime Unit says 33-year-old Steven Frenette turned himself in Friday afternoon.
A Canada-wide warrant for Frenette's arrest was issued late Sunday, just one day after the death of 32-year-old Lee Germain, who was shot inside an apartment on McLeod Street.
The shooting took place around 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Germain died in hospital.
