Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson and Ottawa Senators owner Eugene Melnyk are meeting face-to-face today.
The Friday morning meeting at City Hall also includes Trinity Executive Chairman John Ruddy.
The Senators and Trinity are the major partners of the RendezVous LeBreton group.
The group has an agreement in principle with the National Capital Commission to redevelop LeBreton Flats, a plan which includes a new NHL arena for the Ottawa Senators.
