Statistics Canada is releasing its findings today of its Survey on Sexual Misconduct in the Canadian Armed Forces.
Sexual misconduct has been an issue in the military for years that recently came to light in 2015.
Current Chief of Defence Staff Jonathan Vance has vowed to eradicate inappropriate and harmful sexual behaviour from the forces.
He instated a Forces-wide program called Operation Honour, designed to "eliminate harmful and inappropriate sexual behaviour" across the entire military (i.e., Air Force, Army, and Navy).
Vance is part of a panel that will address the findings of the survey in front of the media today at DND headquarters at 9:00 a.m.
StatsCan's report will be available to the general public online as of 8:30 a.m. Monday
