A nagging thigh injury had Raonic limping away after a quarter-final loss at the Australian Open.
The series of Davis Cup matches pitting Canada against a team from Great Britain is set to run from February 3rd to the 5th at TD Place.
A British star was already noticeably absent as Andy Murray was not announced as part of the team.
Rosters aren't finalized until February 2nd.
