A missing Baby Jesus figurine that was part of a Nativity Scene outside Renfrew Town Hall has been found in time for Christmas.
The life-sized, 15-pound, papier-mâché and fiberglass figurine went missing sometime Saturday. Churchgoers noticed He was gone the next morning.
Diana Wakely with the Put Christ Back in Christmas Committee told CTV News by email the figurine was found Wednesday morning by a town employee in the town hall parking lot.
She says it was scuffed up a bit and was likely dropped off there.
Jesus will now be returned to His manger. Wakely says she is considering putting a GPS tracking device on Him, in case He goes missing again.
