Ottawa Police say an 11-year-old girl who had been missing since September 24 has been safely located.
Nakayla Baskin was first reported missing Sept. 24, 2018. There were concerns she may not have been in Ottawa anymore.
But, in a tweet Wednesday afternoon, police say she was found in the city Wednesday morning.

There was no immediate wordon her condition, other than to say she was safe.
An Ottawa Police news release says Baskin was found at 11:35 a.m. in the east end of the city, after police got a tip from a member of the public.
Police say the Major Crime unit continues to investigate and is looking into any possible criminal aspects to this case. There had been concern Baskin may have fallen victim to human traffickers.
