The National Capital Commission has released a list of a dozen potential sites for a new Ottawa Hospital Civic campus.
The NCC was ordered by the new Liberal government to review the process, after public complaints that the Hospital had selected a location directly across from its current location on Carling on land owned by the Central Experimental Farm.
Among the sites being considered are three in that same area, as well as locations at Tunney's Pasture, West Hunt Club at the 416, West Hunt Club at Woodroffe, and on Experimental Farm land at Baseline and Merivale.
The NCC will have an on-line survey to gather public reaction through October 6th - results will released in November.
Officials at the Ottawa Hospital have said one of their prime considerations is ease of access to major highways for ambulances.
More on the locations being considered is available here.
