We’ll soon know which site the National Capital Commission (NCC) has chosen for a new Ottawa Civic Hospital, as its board of directors will announce its recommendation Thursday morning.
Rebuilding the Civic has been a point of contention ever since the previous conservative government announced plans to relocate it to the Experimental Farm without consultations. The federal Liberals hit the reset button earlier this year and tasked the NCC to review 12 potential sites.
Four of those sites are on the Experimental Farm.
The NCC’s recommendation will then go to Heritage Minister Melanie Joly for approval.
