A new feature on the way for transit users in Leamington.
The Municipality will see a total of 30 new benches installed at LT-Go transit stops across the community this summer, through a partnership with Creative Outdoor.
Officials say the accessible, all-weather benches are suitable for various types of weather and offer a comfortable and attractive seating option that enhances the overall experience of using public transportation.
Creative Outdoor is supplying and installing the benches at no cost to the Municipality and will provide advertising space on them as well.
Officials say Leamington will receive a share of the advertising revenue from the benches over the lifetime of the contract.
