The city has been forced to pay a $25,000 penalty to the Canadian Transportation Agency for not calling out bus stops on routes.
In a memo the City says a review found there were issues with OC Transpo's automated call system on four out of 26 trips back in November.
OC Transpo says it has a number of ongoing processes in place to monitor the performance of the system and encourages riders to communicate should they notice the announcement system isn't working.
