OC Transpo has announced its summer schedule changes, which come into effect Sunday.
There will be service reductions on several routes because of lower ridership, a handful of route number changes, and extra service to local museums.
Routes 12, 19, 30, 33, 44, 61, 63, 64, 82, 85, 87, 88, 91, 94, 95, 97, 98, 104, 105, 111, 129, 235, 236 and 272 will see service reductions.
The following routes are changing numbers:
600-series school routes end June 21 for French-language schools, June 26 for English Catholic schools and June 27 for English public schools.
With summer vacation right around the corner, OC Transpo will be extending weekend and holiday bus service to the Canada Aviation and Space Museum via Route 129, Petrie Island via Route 139, and the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum via Route 185. Buses will run every 30 minutes.
Some routes are also being extended to connect with the LRT, which won’t be running until at least November.
Routes 11X, 17, 48, 63, 64 and 92 are being extended to Line 1 stations and Route 11 will go to Tunney’s Pasture.
