An off-duty Paramedic from Frontenac helped treat an 80-year-old man who had been struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon.
Ottawa Paramedics say the man was riding a motorized scooter when he was hit by a car at the corner of Bank and Heron around 1:21 p.m.
One of the man's legs was broken in the crash.
The off-duty medic helped control the bleeding before Ottawa Paramedics arrived to take the man to hospital in serious but stable condition.
