Ottawa Police is letting the public know that officers spotted with rifles on Bank St. near Killbron Place / Killborn Avenue were responding to an armed robbery that occured in the area.
Officers have apprehended a suspect and the firearm as well as stolen goods have been recovered.
No shots were fired during the incident and no injuries are being reported.
The robbery remains under investigation.
