Firefighters responded to a 9-1-1 call of a fire inside a home on Carmichael Court.
When they arrived, the residents of the home had escaped from the building.
Ottawa Paramedics assesed the two people and one person was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The two people and their two pet cats will be displaced from the home.
Damages are estimated to be around 70-thousand dollars.
The fire was deemed under control at 8:00p.m.
A fire investigator is on scene to determine the cause of the fire.
