Ottawa Police say they're still looking for a suspect after two people were hit by a pick up truck one year ago.
Police say the pedestrians, a man and a woman, both 32 years old, were struck by a dark-coloured 2002 to 2008-model Dodge Ram around 1:20 a.m. August 14th, 2016.
The hit-and-run happened in the Trim Road and Fairgreen Avenue area. The victims had just visited the Navan Fair and were seriously hurt in the crash.
Police would particularly like to speak to two female witnesses they say were beside the suspect vehicle just prior to the the hit-and-run.
The suspect has been previously described by police as a young tall male in his twenties, with a slim build wearing a baseball cap.
