Ontario Provincial Police are looking for information from the public after a man's body was found in the community of Appleton.
The 50-year-old man's remains were found around 10:00 a.m. Monday, in the village that lies just north of Carleton Place.
A cause of death has not yet been announced, but police say there are no public safety issues and no suspects are being sought.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday in Ottawa.
