Ontario Provincial Police are hoping you can help them track down a driver involved in a case of road rage on the 417 Wednesday night.
According to police, a black pickup truck was heading west in the H.O.V. lane near Moodie Drive, when it hit a grey car twice, allegedly on purpose.
The car pulled over to the right shoulder, as did the driver of the truck, and that’s when things turned violent.
Police say the driver of the truck walked up to the car, shoved and punched the other driver, and took out a knife to threaten the man.
The victim was able to take the knife away, but that only made the other man angrier. Police say the suspect punched and shoved the victim again, and both men ended up wrestling to the ground.
The suspect then got up and took off in his pickup truck before police arrived.
He is described as being 5'8, white, with thin red hair and a pointy chin. He was driving a Black Dodge Ram 2500 pickup with large tires.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Constable Steven Stewart at 613-270-9171 or 1-888-310-1122.
