Fire crews were kept very busy over the course of Sunday night, knocking down three separate fires across the city.
First, they were called to an apartment fire on the 7th floor of 1465 Caldwell Ave. in the Carlington area, just after 9:15 p.m.
Two residents will be displaced due to that fire, and damages are estimated at $50,000.
Firefighters then responded to a basement fire in a single-family detached home at 245 Trail Side Circle just after 11:00 p.m.
They say that fire spread to the first and second floors of the two-storey home. The house was unoccupied at the time, and all residents were safely accounted for.
Damages are put at $350,000 in that case.
Then not even a half-hour later, crews were called to 450 Laurier near Lyon St. in Centretown, where smoke was allegedly coming from a first-floor garbage room.
That fire was contained to a dumpster, and was said to cause minimal losses.
All fires were put out by midnight, and no one was reportedly injured in any of the blazes.
