Ottawa police have charged a local man after a slew of incidents on Christmas Eve.
The suspect allegedly stole items from a store at the 3600 block of Strandherd Drive.
After a security agent confronted the male in a parking lot, he allegedly pulled a knife on the guard and stole a vehicle.
33-year-old James Rush is charged with armed robbery, vehicle theft, dangerous driving, possession of a weapon and breach of probation.
His court date was set for today.
