An Ottawa man is facing charges after a months-long investigation culminated Saturday, Ottawa Police say.
Police say received word from national child protection organizations about IP addresses in the Ottawa area uploading photos and video of child sexual abuse through Google.
A search executed Saturday on Rockingham Avenue in the Billings Bridge saw computers, cellular devices, and external digital media seized.
Scott McCooye, 43, has been charged with three counts of Possession of Child Pornography, 1 count Distribution of Child Pornography, and two counts of Make Available Child Pornography.
He's scheduled to appear in court Sunday.
