An Ottawa man is facing child pornography-related charges, following a months-long investigation.
Ottawa Police say they were tipped off by the National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children in mid-July that an Ottawa-area IP address was linked to chats and images of child sexual abuse.
The investigation led to a search warrant execution Thursday in the Orleans Village-Chateauneuf area. Several digital devices were seized.
33-year-old Jean-Michel Duval is facing one count of distribution of child pornography, three counts of possession of child pornography and one count of making child pornography available.
He'll appear in court Friday.
Ottawa Police say Duval had previously faced similar charges in March, 2010 following a province-wide probe into child pornography.
