Ottawa Police have arrested three people after a break and enter at the St. Laurent Shopping Centre on Sunday.

Police were called to the mall at around 4:00am yesterday for a break-in in progress at one of the stores.

Police say a male suspect got away on a motorcycle, but thanks to proactive community checks, were able to identify and locate the motorcycle, which was reported as stolen.

That lead police to arrest 34-year-old Calvin Peacock of Ottawa. He's facing the following six charges:

  • Break and Enter and Commit
  • Mischief Over $5000
  • Possession of Break-in instruments
  • Possession over $5000 (stolen motorcycle)
  • Break and Enter with intent
  • Possession of Stolen Property over $5000

A 29-year-old woman and a 57-year-old woman both from Ottawa were also arrested and charged with alleged break and enter.
