A 33-year-old man is facing First Degree Murder charges in the fatal shooting of a man in a Centretown apartment.
Ottawa Police say a Canada Wide warrant has been issued for Steven Michael Frenette.
Major Crime Investigators believe Frenette is responsible for the shooting death of a 32-year-old man on Saturday afternoon.
Police responded to a call about a shooting in an apartment on McLeod Street around 4:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon. The victim was rushed to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Lee John Joseph Germain.
This was Ottawa's 21st murder of 2016. Police have reported 65 shootings since the start of the year.
