Ottawa Police continue to search for a suspect in an alleged armed robbery in the Heron Gate area.
Police were called to a business on Walkley Road at around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Witnesses told police the suspect had fled into a home on Angela Private near Heatherington Road.
Police began an operation outside the home and called in the tactical unit -- but no suspect was ever found.
The scene has since been cleared.
The investigation is ongoing. Police have no description of the suspect at this time.
