An Ottawa Police officer has been charged with impaired driving, months after he was suspended in connection with another incident.
Police say Constable Christian Nungisa was stopped around 5:30 a.m. Sunday when he failed a breathalyzer test.
He's been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle.
Back in October, Constable Nungisa was charged with unsafe storage of a firearm in connection with a May 2016 incident in Kingston.
He was been suspended and police say he remains off duty.
