Ottawa Police are looking for a man in connection with a brazen daylight home invasion and robbery in Orleans.
Police say a woman was alone in her home on Kamouraska Circle (not far from the intersection of Jeanne D'Arc and Orléans Boulevards) around 1:10 p.m. Monday, November 28.
A man then entered the home and knocked down the woman's bedroom door. He then held her at knifepoint, leading her around the home while taking various electronics, and then fled.
The woman was not hurt.
The man is described as being between 20 and 25 years old, about 5'10" to 6'0" tall, and possibly of Middle-Eastern descent. He has a thin build, with short, dark, curly hair and was clean shaven. The man spoke with a slight accent, and was wearing a black winter coat and blue jeans at the time.
Residents in the area are being asked to be vigilant and report suspicious people to police.
