A 60-year-old Ottawa man is facing drug trafficking charges after Ottawa Police say they found 10 kilograms of cocaine in his car.
Police say they saw a suspected drug deal in Centretown Monday night and, following a short investigation, arrested a man in his car in the Somerset and Kent area around 8:00 p.m.
Michel Clermont is facing a one count of drug possession for the purposes of trafficking and one count of possession of the proceeds of crime.
Ottawa Police say that 10 kilograms of cocaine is worth at least one million dollars on the street.
