A new contract for police officers in the city has now been approved by both sides.
The Ottawa Police Services Board has rubber-stamped a four-year collective agreement, which avoids arbitration.
Under the deal, first-class Constables will be making more than $100,000 a year starting in July of 2019.
Officers will also receive unlimited health benefits for psychological treatment.
Additionally, there are changes to nighttime work schedules.
Civilian members of the Ottawa Police Association are also covered under the deal.
