Ottawa Public Health says one of the three cases of measles they had identified earlier this month has turned out to be negative.
A list of places and times where others may have been exposed to the virus was released September 3. What the recent update means is that several places are no longer considered possible exposure sites.
The Carleton Place Hospital, the Carlingwood Shopping Centre, the Lone Star on Carling Avenue in Kanata, and the Kanata Super Store have been removed from Public Health's list of potential exposure sites.
CHEO and the Ottawa Hospital General Campus remain on the list.
OPH says the risk of contracting measles is low for anyone who has been vaccinated, but you're reminded to review a list of measles symptoms if you haven't been fully vaccinated.
