Fire crews were called to a second fire in the early hours of Sunday morning, this one a blaze in a vacant industrial building on Chaudiere Island.
Crews were called to Booth St. near Middle St. just before 2:30 a.m.
They say the fire was in the roof of the industrial building, which is closer to the Quebec side. Fire crews say they were first alerted to the blaze by Gatineau Police.
Fire command chief ordered external-operations only. The fire was knocked down within minutes.
The building was empty and abandoned, and no injuries were reported.
There's been no word yet on the cause of the blaze, or the cost of the damages.
