Ottawa Paramedics say a city park employee and a bystander came to the rescue of a jogger who collapsed in Barrhaven this morning.
They say the runner in his 60s went into cardiac arrest near Holitman and Foxfield at about 8:40.
The employee and bystander applied CPR until medics arrived to deliver two shocks with a defibrilator along with a shot of adrenaline.
The man started breathing and moving on his own again and was rushed to hospital.
He's in critical but stable condition.
