A 69-year-old pedestrian has died after he was struck by a vehicle in Ottawa’s east end.
It happened on Renaud Rd. around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Ottawa Paramedics say the man was found with several injuries and in cardiac arrest. He was resuscitated on the way to the hospital, where he later died.
Roads in the area were closed while authorities investigated, but reopened shortly after midnight on Monday.
Ottawa Police continue to investigate and there has been no word about possible charges at this time.
The name of the victim has not been released.
