Three young men are facing charges after an alleged mugging early Sunday morning.
Police say around 1:00am, a man was walking through a parking lot at Riverside Drive and Bank Street after taking money out of a bank machine.
It was then that three men allegedly swarmed the victim, where a knife was pulled and he was pepper sprayed.
They say three suspects then took the man's backpack and ran.
After tracking the suspects, all three were arrested and are facing the following charges:
Connor O'CALLAGHAN, 18 years old of Ottawa is charged with:
* Armed robbery x2
* Possession of a weapon for committing an offence x3
* Administer noxious thing with intent x1
* Possession of a Schedule I Substance x1
* Breach of Probation x2
* Breach of Recognizance x4
Jefrey SANTOS RIVERA, 18 years old of Ottawa is charged with:
* Armed robbery x2
* Possession of a weapon for committing an offence x3
* Administer noxious thing with intent x1
17 year old male, a young offender, is charged with:
* Armed robbery x2
* Possession of a weapon for committing an offence x3
* Administer noxious thing with intent x1
