Ottawa Police are asking the public for help in identifying the body of a man they pulled out of the Rideau River.
The man's body was found on Friday, July 6th around 8:40am in the river near Bordeleau Park.
After a post-mortem, police say foul play is not expected and it appears the body had been in the water for 24 hours.
The man does not match the description of a missing person in the Ottawa-Gatineau area
He's described as black, between 30 to 50 years old, 5'8'', 144lbs with short black hair and clean shaven.
He was wearing a grey shirt and police say it appears he had a right hip replacement.
