The Hawkesbury OPP detachment says the Emergency Response Team and K-9 officers are currently responding to a weapons-related incident in Alfred and Plantagenet Township.
Police say they're focusing their response in the rural area of Concession Road 5 - west of Alfred - and road closures are in effect.
OPP are asking the public to avoid traveling to and from the area until further notice.
