Ottawa Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man suspected of breaking into a home and stealing a credit card.
Police say a man broke into a home on Bronson Avenue, near Fifth Avenue, between 2:00 a.m. and 6:30 a.m. on August 24th, and took a credit card.
That card was then used at a store the same day.
On Tuesday, November 8, Ottawa Police charged 36-year-old David Lavigne with breaking and entering, possession of a credit card obtained by crime, and eight counts of fraud under $5,000, and issued a warrant for his arrest.
Lavigne is described as white, 5'2" (160 cm), with a medium build, and light brown wavy hair. Police say he is known to frequent the Bank Street area and downtown lunch kitchens.
