Ottawa Police say they arrested and charged a 19-year-old man in connection with an alleged assault in January.
Police say it happened somewhere on a stretch of MacLaren Street, between Bank and Lyon, around 12:30 a.m. January 10th.
Police are not revealing any information about the alleged victim or victims in this case, saying the matter is before the courts.
19-year-old Abdirahman Ali-Farah was arrested Friday. He is facing six offenses: aggravated assault, robbery with violence, forcible confinement, unlawfully being in a dwelling house, uttering threats to cause bodily harm, and uttering threats to injure an animal.
Additionally, a second suspect was charged in May, according to police. They say 24-year-old Hakim Houssein is facing seven counts: aggravated assault, sexual assault, robbery with violence, overcoming resistance by choking, unlawfully being in a dwelling house, and two counts of uttering threats.
