Police looking for robbery suspect who choked victim to unconsciousness

The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit are asking for the publics help in identifying a male suspect from a robbery on Albert St. 

The Ottawa Police Robbery Unit are asking for the public's help in identifying a male suspect from a robbery on Albert St. 

This past Sunday, police say the male suspect met with the female victim of the robbery in the 1-100 block of Albert St. where a meeting was pre-arranged. 

The suspect proceeded to choke the victim, demanding money from her, until she fell unconscious. 

He then took the money and left. 

The suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 35 and 42 years old. 

He is described as 5'6" with a brown beard and moustache. 

He was wearing jeans, a dark sweater with a dark leather jacket overtop, with dark gloves and a dark-coloured tuque.
