An OPP officer has suffered injuries while responding to a call on Highway 401.
The Leeds County officer responded to calls of erratic driving back on July 10th around 8:40pm.
A car had crashed into the median on Highway 401 near Front of Yonge township.
The driver then reportedly got out of his car and began harrass bystanders trying to help.
He then reportedly tried to enter other vehicles and run down the highway.
While attempting to arrest the driver, the officer sustained minor injuries.
The officer was treated and released at the Brockville Hospital.
The driver was taken to the same hospital for assessment.
39-year-old Paul Oldham from Halifax is charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest, dangerous and impaired driving. He's set to appear in court in Brockville on August 3rd.
