Overdose Prevention Ottawa says the number of visits to its pop-up drug injection site in Lowertown surpassed the 500 mark on the weekend.
They say there were 66 visits Sunday, and that two overdoses were prevented.
The group says there has been an upward trend in the 17 days since the unlicensed tent complex opened.

Meanwhile, the Lowertown Community Association has launched a survey asking people what they think about the setup, and the possibility of more being added to the neighbourhood.
