Here's a look at some of the mayoral race results from outside the capital.
Jason Baker is the new Mayor of Brockville, winning by 19 votes. David Henderson did not seek re-election.
In Carleton Place, Douglas Black is the new mayor, defeating Louis Antonakos.
In Cornwall, Bernadette Clement defeated incumbent mayor Leslie O'Shaughnessy. Clement received nearly 54 percent of the vote, and is the first Black woman elected mayor in Cornwall.
Paula Assaly defeated incumbent Jeanne Charlesbois to take the mayoral seat in Hawkesbury.
John Fenik was re-elected mayor in Perth.
Shawn Pankow was re-elected mayor in Smith's Falls, and Clarence-Rockland saw the re-election of mayor Guy Desjardins.
Christa Lowry is now the mayor of Mississippi Mills, after Shaun McLaughlin did not seek re-election.
And in North Grenville, Nancy Peckford defeated incumbent David Gordon by just 1644 votes.
Pierre Leroux was re-elected Mayor of Russell Township. Paula Assaly is the new Mayor of Hawkesbury. Assaly defeated incumbent Jeanne Charlesbois.
Walter Stack is the new Mayor of Arnprior. Stack defeated Gabriel Flowers by just over 900 votes. Mayor David Reid did not seek re-election.
An emergency was declared in several municipalities after the voting system failed. The vote will continue by paper ballot today. The municipalities include Pembroke, Petawawa, Renfrew, Laurentian Valley and the Township of White Water Region.
