    Gatineau Police have arrested three kids after a fire at a school injured two students.

    Emergency crews were called to l'Ecole polyvalente Le Carrefour at about 2:15 Tuesday afternoon.

    Police say a fire had been lit in trash bin in a hallway. A statement from the school describes what happened as a small explosion caused by an aerosol can.

    A boy and a girl had to be taken to hospital.

    The injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.

    The kids arrested are 12 and 13 years of age.

    Gatineau Police say other arrests may be forthcoming.
