A 25 year old man is recovering from serious stab wounds after an assault outside a Lowertown bar early Thursday morning.
Ottawa police responded to calls about a shooting on Rideau near Augusta around 1:20 a.m.
At least one bullet casing was recovered.
But the victim was found suffering from several stab wounds.
The Guns and Gangs unit is leading the investigation.
