Expect yet another day of rain for Canada Day festivities.
Environment Canada's David Phillips told CFRA's Morning Rush that the rain should come as scattered showers throughout the day.
"It's not as if it's going to be a Texas Gully Washer that's going to go from morning to night - there will probably be more dry hours than wet hours," Phillips said.
Many Canada Day activities, includig outdoor concerts and performances, are expected to proceed whether it is rain or shine.
However, there is also a chance of thunderstorms developing in the afternoon, and that's a concern.
But Phillips holds out some hope for the fireworks displays around the city.
"If the system that will bring dry weather to Toronto in the afternoon gets though Ottawa by early evening, I think there will be decent fireworks."
Though it may be rainy with a chance of thunderstorms, Phillips added people won't have to be worried about feeling cold -- with high humidity, the day will feel more like 32 degrees.
