After 18 months away, Bell Media welcomes “Stuntman Stu” back to MAJIC 100.
Stu Schwartz, the morning co-host of Majic 100 and the announcer for the Ottawa Sens, has openly shared his struggle of battling leukemia.
Stu suffered nosebleeds for weeks, combined with headaches and fatigue, and eventually received a leukemia diagnosis.
But through it all he had an unwaivering zest for life and sense of humour.
Stu says he is "85% back to full health."
This past August, Stu was named in the "Best of Ottawa: Media Personalities."
"You gotta’ give him props, that’s a unique way to break into radio. Since then he’s been an auctioneer, a chef, announcer at the Olympics and Paralympics games and Diamond Jubilee medal women. Stu also launched an anti-bullying campaign called #NoMoreBullies and, if all that wasn’t enough, the dude sent Leaukaemia into remission less than two months afrer a bone marrow transplant in 2016. "
Stu officially rejoined Angie Poirier on Tuesday.
