The number of city employees on the Ontario sunshine list has gone down.
Data released by the province today shows 2,884 municipal employees in Ottawa made more than $100,000 dollars last year.
That is down from 2,912 for 2015.
The top paid city staffer for 2016: Medical Officer of Health Dr. Isra Levy at $302,412, replacing retired city manager Kent Kirkpatrick who still collected $180,727.
His successor Steve Kanellakos earned $225,712.
Ottawa Police Chief Charles Bordeleau and Deputy Chief Jill Skinner are numbers two and three at $281,511 and $272,208 respectively.

There are also 538 Ottawa Hospital employees on the list, including President and CEO Dr. Jack Kitts.
He was the 16th highest-paid public servant in Ontario last year at $630,485.
